Time-wasters you know in transport and logistics.

Anyone on the road all day cannot use a time clock in the office. Stempli is mobile, every driver records their time straight from their phone, whether at the depot or on the road.

Waiting times during loading and unloading that slip through the cracks

Overtime across the team that nobody totals up

In practice

A day in logistics with Stempli

From the loading ramp to the last delivery, this is how drivers and warehouse staff record their time.

  1. 05:30The driver clocks in at the depot and loads the truck. Loading time is working time and is recorded.
  2. 10:15Waiting time at the customer's: a note on the clock entry makes it clear later why the route took longer.
  3. 12:00Lunch break on the road, clocked with one tap, wherever the truck happens to be.
  4. 15:45Back at the depot: clock out. The warehouse team clocks in at the shift change.
  5. Month-endDispatch sees overtime and balances per person and creates the monthly reports as PDFs.
Law & rules

What applies in transport

Professional drivers are subject to their own rules on driving, working and rest times under the Chauffeur Ordinance. The Labour Act applies to the warehouse and dispatch.

Chauffeur Ordinance (ARV 1 and ARV 2)

The ARV regulates the driving, working and rest times of professional drivers. In heavy vehicles, the tachograph records driving time. Stempli does not replace the tachograph, but it records the entire working time, including loading, waiting and work in the warehouse.

Warehouse, workshop and dispatch

Anyone who does not drive is subject to the Labour Act, with its maximum working time, breaks and rest periods. Here too, working time must be recorded and kept for five years.

Rest periods in view

There must be sufficient rest between two working days. The history shows at a glance when someone stopped and when they started again.

A brief overview, not legal advice. The Labour Act and the collective labour agreement that applies to your business are authoritative.

One plan, everything included, fair per employee.

A fair base fee plus a fixed price per employee. No hidden costs, no lock-in.
